Which Breed Would You Choose?
It’s taken a while, but I am finally getting around to creating more specific mugs and prints than ‘I remember how much I love dogs’. Because, there’s being a dog-lover, and then there is being absolutely in love with a specific breed.
Lots of us will have had many different dogs over the years, and sometimes, there are those extra special ones that 100% capture your heart, and you just can’t resist another one. And another one. And…another one.
For me, it’s doodles. It started with Bailey (technically a labradoodle, but more of a labradonkey), who was the first dog we ever got from the charity Doodle Trust. Bailey is sadly no longer with us, but we do have Ruby (goldendoodle) and Gus (standard poodle and honorary doodle), from the same charity.
If I ever get dementia, I am making it known that I expect my love for my dogs to be reflected in my environment, because they are my world.
So, our first breed specific mug has 3 versions (as all of our ‘Remember’ range does):
”I May Forget Some Things, But I Remember How Much I Love DOODLES”
”I May Have Dementia, But I Remember How Much I Love Doodles”
”I May Have Alzheimer’s, But I Remember How Much I Love Doodles”
They’re designed this way be able to show acceptance of dementia, in a fun way. (I know, fun and dementia, not really natural bedfellows!).
But, right now, the choices are the generic ‘Dogs’ mug, or the ‘doodles’ option. The question is, what are the favourite breeds out there that people would like to see added to this range? I am poised and ready to go, with whatever proves to be most popular. Feel free to comment on this post, or come on over to my Facebook page, and comment there.
The question is simple - what breed next? (There are cats and horses in the range already, we’re sticking with dog breeds, here!).
Much love,
Anna
